Dear Bruno and family, I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. When I was about 17 years old, I started playing pick up bocce games at the park. I was a bit unlike the others being the youngest and not italian! It didn't matter, John accepted me and was always kind to me. I loved his intensity on the court and his quick wit when joking with others. Now age 40, I look back quite fondly to those days with John and many others that made Mayfield park their nightly home away from home. He was an outstanding bocce player and friend. I am happy I got to see him last summer st the club. I know he is having a good time in Heaven as I write this. Rest In Peace John.
