I can't think of any actor who could have played Sgt. Taggart as well as John Ashton did, So great in Beverly Hills Cop films with Eddie Murphy, Ronny Cox and Judge Reinhold. Also really good as Mike's brother Roy in Breaking Away.
He will be greatly missed. R.I.P,

I am so sorry about the loss of John, I remember him in Beverly Hills Cop and he will never be forgotten. The Ashton family has my deepest condolences and I pray that you will be surrounded continuously with love and support. As you go through this difficult time, may Almighty God give you "everlasting comfort" (2 Thess. 2:16).
