John Auer Obituary
Little Egg Harbor
John A. Auer, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away, Thursday, June 2, at home. He was born in Bronx, N.Y., residing in Tuckerton since 1973. He was a graduate of La Salle Academy, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J. He was a member of the Greenbrook First Aid Squad for 18 years. John worked in maintenance for Southern Regional High School. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.
John was predeceased by his wife Edith M., and his daughter Carol Ann. He is survived by his sons, Thomas E., and John J., both of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., daughter, Kathleen A. Barneman, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Viewing will be held Monday, June 6, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M., and Tuesday, June 7, from 9:30-10:30 A.M., at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 A.M. at St. Theresa's R.C. Church, 450 Radio Rd., Little Egg Harbor. Burial will follow at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd.,Wrightstown, N.J., at 2 P.M. in the Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Theresa's Youth Group.
