John Baldwin Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 16, 2024.
John Aubrey Baldwin passed away at the age of 60 in Allen, Texas. He was born August 21, 1963, in Roanoke, VA and moved to the great state of Texas in his early 20s. John was passionate in every endeavor he pursued-from launching small businesses to working for Toyota for nearly 20 years to running in Tough Mudder races. He was an avid sports fan, particularly for his beloved Cowboys. John loved his family and was truly the world's greatest grandpa, speaking on the phone daily-sometimes more-with his grandchildren about sports, current events and anything else they had on their minds. He will be missed every single day.

John was joined in death by Elizabeth Baldwin, his wife of 28 years, and preceded in death by his father Charles Aubrey Baldwin and nephew John Michael Keeney. He is survived by his mother Tina Cundiff of Thaxton, VA; sisters Melissa "Missy" ( Frank) Keeney of Thaxton, VA, and Angie (Steve) Tremblay of Covington, VA; stepdaughters Melissa James Russell (Paul) of Falls Church, VA, and Melanie James Fowler of Arlington, TX; grandchildren Luke Alton Russell, Andrew Clayton Russell, William Seth Fowler and Margaret Louise Fowler; nephews Frank (Hannah) Keeney; Kevin, Derek (Ashley), Ben and Adam Tremblay; nieces Judy (Barry) Hensley, Vicki (Caleb) Beam; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

The family invites you to attend a celebration of John's life at Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, VA, on Saturday, July 20th at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Directions to John's service in the rose garden will be provided at the main building at 10:15 a.m.
