I Am Saddened To Hear Of The Passing Of What I Referred To As Big John! He Was My Boss At Hobart Mfg. In The Early 80's And GOD BLESSED Me When That Happened! He Expected Perfection But Was There To Coach And Teach You When That Didn't Take Place! Big John Bought My Daughter Tiffany Her First Stuffed Animal When She Was Born In Salt Lake City ,Which Is Named John Dog , And Is Still In My 37 Year Old Daughters Home♥! Mentors Are Hard To Fine But John Was One Of Mine And I Was Blessed To Have Him! RIP My Friend See You On The Other Side

Our condolences to Baran family for loss of loved one. I never had a chance to get to know him or his family. His father Joseph and my grandfather Sime were brothers born in Croatia. My he Rest In Peace.

As long time neighbors of Jea and John on Via Boronada, we shall remember John with great fondness. He had an aptitude for lively conversation...always kept a gathering interesting. We knew he was an avid fan of USC...
We will find comfort in the fact that he was surrounded by his loving wife and family.
