Our prayers go out to my Grandma Karen. I have been down with flu and just heard. Grandpa touched many lives, whether it in studies, martial arts, or letting us have lived in your home during some difficult times in our families life.
I remember while we lived there no television...but don't mind. We had great stories and helped me in ways to become you I am today.
I remember the times at the diner and him with a single quarter sitting there for what seemed like ours playing pacman.
I remember the excessive collection of pennies he had...maybe some valuable.
I remember his old pre microsoft computer with dos thinking what in the world is the dos command to play games on this thing.
I remember when he lived in Illinois my cousin Lupe falling off the treadmill we were not supposed to use.
I remember the crazy white cat in New York that liked no one but him.
I remember how so many steps in my life without realizing it then would shape the next things in my life. I have been fortunate, not rich. I have been loved. I have been lucky to spend some of my high school years in my Grandma Karens and Grandpa's house in New York.
I remember alot, we all need to remember he worked a lifetime to get to heaven. we all need to do the same.
love you grandma karen

Karen, John was a wonderful Christian man who always put the Lord first in his life. I will be praying for you during this difficult time knowing the Lord has a plan for you going forward.

Panera will never be quite the same without John occupying his regular spot next to the window, always with his laptop up and running. What an amazing, deep, Christian man who was always learning and eager to share what he had been studying! We were privileged to know him and to have sweet fellowship with both of you. Christ makes all the difference in relationships! We know that God will comfort you and express Himself to you in a way that confirms His love and strengthens your faith during this hard time. Our hearts are with you, Karen. With our love and prayers, Marvin and Yvonne

The Lord bless you and keep you;

The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.'
You will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Karen, I'm SO saddened by this news. Comfort and peace to you! John ran the race that was set before him. He was a "Finisher". He accomplished what he felt lead to do. My love goes out to you. Tina Jackson

Karen I was so sad to read the news of your husband. Although I did not know him, I felt like I knew him through you with your kind and loving words. If we were home, I would come to the funeral. Instead, I'm sending you a hug and know that I am thinking and praying for your comfort and understanding. God Bless you and your family. Alicia Mazure

We were shocked and disheartened upon hearing that John had passed away. Grief can very hard, but our special memories of a life well lived can help us cope.
