John Osie Barrow -BUTLER - Funeral services for John Osie Barrow, 56, of Butler, will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Butler. Burial will follow at Butler Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Barrow passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008 at Emory Healthcare, Atlanta, Georgia. The lifelong native of Taylor County was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John S. Barrow and Iris Robinson Barrow and a brother, Melvin Barrow. -Survivors include: his wife, Lynne Barrow of Butler; son, Benjy Barrow (Candi) of Reynolds; three daughters, Bridget Barrow, Jena Barrow and Cary Anne Barrow of Butler; four brothers, Bo Barrow (Anne), Homer Barrow (Joyce), Jesse Barrow (Nita) and LaRoy Barrow (Londi); a sister, Mary Alice Nicholson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kilie Barrow of Reynolds. -Memorial contributions in John's memory may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 391, Butler, GA 31006. -Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. -Edwards-McLeighton Funeral Home of Butler is in charge of arrangements.
