I am a graduate of the University of Windsor and I was a student of Professor Bart's (Investments and International Finance). He was a great teacher! He had a very unique style of teaching and delivery. Much of how I teach today, as a university professor, is based on his teaching style. I'm sorry to learn of his passing. I too do not know Mr. Bart or his family, but I could not help but send my prayers to his family. What a beautiful Obituary.

What a beautiful and eloquent obituary written by Mr. Bart himself... We should do more of this in society. Even though I don't know the Bart's I send my condolences to them at this time of terrible loss of a loved one. The obituary is both a source of comfort and inspiration for all who read it...

I was a student of Dr. Bart's at the University of Windsor as an undergraduate. I admired his passion for investing and the confidence he had in the approach he adapted and refined. From relatively humble beginnings he achieved an impressive resume both in business and in life. His family should be proud.

He had quite a different style than most business schools profs, but he had a way of teaching that didn't made you forget.

I don't know Mr. Bart. I just read the obituary and wish I had the privilege of knowing him. The fact that he did this says so much about him. I thank him for demonstrating values and integrity- and courage. I know someone of this calibre will be missed by many

I had the privilege of knowing John and being a part of his and Mary's exercise regime twice a week for yoga. He was a special man. Mary and John will always be a wonderful couple and I will enjoy lovely memories of John.

I had never heard of John Bart until I read his obituary in the November 30th edition of theGlobe and Mail. I wish I had met him. From what I learned it would seem that the phrase, "a life well lived" would be an understatement. Mrs. Bart, I hope that you and your family find peace, and that in time the appreciation of what you had outweighs your sense of loss. God bless you all.

I had the privilege to meet Dr. Bart a few years ago. Although it was purely a business setting, his personality and character shone through. He was an impressive man. My sympathies to the family.
