John R. Basilico

I miss you everyday Dad.

John was a great mentor to me when I worked for him with the Earth City Levee District. He was a perfectionist and always was willing to teach as you learned from his example. He loved talking about his family and when I was deciding whether or not to take time off to raise my family, he wrote a letter explaining how I would never regret it. I still have the letter and cherish every word. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace, John.

JOHN you cast a big shadow,what beautiful example of a caring man. Through the eyes of your brother Jerry and his wife Phyllis I feel as if I know you. What chasm there is left with your exit from life. My condolences to your wife and children as well as your friends and family. Lifting them up in prayer.

Working with John for more than 25 years on behalf of the EC Levee District allowed me insight to the musings of someone who really cared about “getting it right” the first time. May he rest in a well earned peace.

The Niño’s of San Antonio extend our deepest condolences to Jean, Susan, Tom and all the Basilico blended and extended family. Mr. Basilico was a generous man. May he Rest In Peace.
