I had the pleasure of being neighbors with John and Colleen for 20 years. My kids (now adults) and I always enjoyed talking to them when they were outside. John was always very patient, kind, and generous, especially with the the sharing of his abundance from his garden. The kids loved going into his garden and picking raspberries although not many made it back home across the street because they ate them as they picked. Knowing that the kids loved them, he helped transplant some of his plants into our garden area (which was inspired by John). I wish I could say our garden was half as amazing as his but that wouldn´t be true. He definitely had a talent for gardening. John had a positive impact on all of us and we were blessed to be his neighbor. May the angels welcome him to paradise and may all of you who knew and loved him find comfort and peace and cherish the memories that you shared.

I was a fellow tinsmith of John at Chevy in The Hole. I can remember his "hearty laugh" & good sense of humor. Having read his obituary I can now remember him mentioning his beloved wife (Coleen) at various time. My sincere condolences to her, and all his loved ones. Les Ford
