John Jason Bawden

BAWDEN, John Jason . Passed away on November 21st, 2013 at the age of 71 years, with his loving wife Shelley by his side. Born January 13th, 1942 in Carlisle, England. He is lived on by his daughters; Fiona (Moe) of Scotland, Leyla of England; step-children, Jamie (Claire), Daniel (Krista), Steven, and Katie, brother; Mark (Peigi), sister; Jean (George), brothers-in-law; Rick (Cyndie), Ron (Suzanne), Gary (Debbie), sister-in-law; Tammy (Ken); grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and close friends, Mary Ellen, Don and Tim. John was a true gentleman who always prided himself on his impeccable manners and old fashioned values. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those lives he touched. The Bawden family is grateful to Robbins Harris RN, Dr. E. Fritsch and the staff at the Lodge on 4th, for the compassionate and excellent care provided to John. Celebration of John's life will be held on December 1st, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Harewood Activity Centre (formerly Harewood Fire Hall) 195 4th, Street, Nanaimo, BC.
