BEITING John Morgan, born to the late Leo and Marie Morgan Beiting. Beloved husband of the late Marilyn L. Burns, cherished father of Jennifer (Bob) Jacobsen and Sara Beiting, loving brother of the late Tom (Ruth) and Charlie Zeke Beiting, beloved brother-in-law of Nancy Burns and Carolyn (Richard) Hammond, devoted dog Grandfather to the late Zeke Burns.

John attended Nativity Grade School, St. Xavier High School, and Xavier University. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

After his honorable discharge from the Navy, John traveled throughout Europe to experience many adventures. Upon his return home to Pleasant Ridge, he reconnected with a friend to co-found the local chapter of the Junior Officer and Professional Association (JOPA) where John served as president. It was a huge success from the first event in January 1967 throughout its history garnering over 10,000 members. Soon after the first event, John met Marilyn Burns and they were married on December 30, 1967.

John was devoted to his faith, his family, his country, and All Saints Church. He enjoyed traveling around the country and abroad with family and friends. In his younger years as a family man, he loved taking them out in his sailboat at regional lakes along with friends and their kids. He grew to become an avid golfer and bridge and poker player. He maintained a healthy and active lifestyle. John possessed an outstanding work ethic, a quick-wit sense of humor, a quiet yet powerful strength, and the gift of kindness.

John was proud to work for Cincinnati Insurance Companies and of the work he did there. He was dedicated and determined from day one and retired after 25 years with achieving his role as the Life Field Director. He then spent time with his family including his grandpup Zeke and friends, continued staying healthy and active, said the rosary every day, went to All Saints mass each week, and did volunteer work on a weekly basis. John's faith was his beacon in which he demonstrated in every aspect of his life.

The family is grateful to everyone who was able to attend the visitation at Thomas Justin Memorial as well as John's service and interment with military honors at Hopewell Cemetery. The Mass at All Saints Church is available to view online. For details on how to access, please visit https://www.thomasjustinmemorial.com/obituaries/john-beiting.

Zeke would only eat for Grandpa when he was being picky or not feeling well. Grandpa´s 3-4 step process always got his Little Buddy fed.

John has been a very good friend since my freshman year at Xavier University, where he was my fraternity, big brother. The week after returning from my military service in Germany and extensive travel throughout Europe John asked me to join him in starting a Cincinnati chapter of the junior officers and professional association "JOPA". John Matt Marilyn Burns soon after I was honored to be the best man in their wedding. We continued as life, long friends, socializing, and playing lots of golf together until he had to stop playing a few years ago. As many as you know whether it was Golf or business John was quite a competitor. he is greatly missed by many.

We first met Marilyn and John in 1975 when we moved to Huntersknoll in Montgomery and became good friends. I enjoyed sailing with John at Lake Cowan and our children and theirs (and all the other children on the street) played kickball and other games in their yard. John was a true patriot and very proud of his Navy service. Fair winds and following seas.
