John Richard Beni

Mr. John Richard Beni age 66 of Hayesville, NC., passed away peacefully on Saturday March 11, 2023 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness (cancer). Mr. Beni was born on March 25, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY., the son of the late Nick Beni Sr. and the late Rita Agnes Barone Beni. John graduated with from Florida Institute of Technology in 1978. And used his education and training for underwater hydraulics and mechanical engineering at Perry Ocean Graphics And later Lockheed Martin. His work later shifted towards the film and entertainment industry in the late 90s as lead engineer for Universal Studios Orlando and the Islands of Adventure where he later moved on to support countless film and entertainment productions in Atlanta Georgia from 2000s until retirement . He designed and worked on the underwater submarine for the film industry. John enjoyed diving, scuba, fishing and sport, and his career in Mechanics and Hydraulics engineering and design. He was a loving father, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents and also a son, Matthew Beni in 2012 and a brother, Nick Beni Jr. in 2022. John was of the Catholic faith. Surviving Mr. Beni are one son and daughter in law, John and Easha Beni Jr. of Atlanta, one sister, Lisa Beni of Minneola, FL., nieces and nephew, Rita Beni of Groveland, FL., Nick and Tonya Beni of CO., sister -in -law, Betsy Beni of CO., many other relatives from the Barone, Beni and Tedeschi families originating in New York and friends also survive throughout the United States. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
