My brother John was the kind of brother you wish you had. I was lucky he was my brother. Since I was born John helped me with everything. He always gave me good advice whether it was wanted or not. On December 22,2009 he told me, "Smile Dorothy everything will be allright." I'm going to keep my brother alive by being more like him. I will laugh more tell jokes and go fishing. That should keep the fish alive. I will be happy knowing he is with mom and dad.

So sorry to learn of John's passing. We've been friends for many years going back to our days together at Emmet Belknap and later at Lockport High. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this most difficult time.

Dear Ann, George, Earl, Dorothy and families-
We are so sorry to hear of John's death. May his warm and mischievious smile live in your hearts forever.
My favorite memory of him was when he was 6. He spent a week with us (the Stout family) at the farm. Hazel was bound and determined that John would take a nap in the afternoon like the rest of us. She practically had to wrestle him into the bedroom. Just lie there and rest she said. Well he was avidly chewing gum - but fell asleep and woke up with it all in his curly hair! Can't you just see my Mom scrubbing that little head and him yelling?
Ed remembers him from high school and thought he was nice - always smiling.
Love to you all-
Donna & Ed

Dear Bickford Family,
I graduated from Lockport Senior High School and knew John as he was in my class ('72). John always had a smile and was full of fun- twinkle in his eye. So sorry to hear of his passing. Wanted you to know he was a very nice person. I will be praying for the true God to comfort you at this time.

So sorry to hear about John. We grew up together and went to school together. Lost track of John as we all do of so many friends. To the family, you are in my prayers and thoughts.
