To Johns family, I am so sorry for your loss. I first met John thru our kids playing school sports. I would run into John at Market Of Choice every so often and we would catch on on our families. I alway enjoys our conversations, he was always a positive, smiling guy and I appreciated that. Peace and love to all of you. Our loved ones live on in our hearts.

To the family of John Billington, I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing. I knew John back in high school (Lincoln '65). We had some classes together and I remember him as being friendly, respectful -- an all-around nice guy! I'm glad I saw him at our 50 year reunion two summers ago. I want his children to know that he was a bright, popular kid --- even way back then.
My deepest condolences.

My heart goes out to all who grieve the loss. I am a stranger to you, but we are related and I was filled with awe and sadness when I read the paper this morning. How I wish I had known, and perhaps talked. My family is traced back to John Billington and his family on the Mayflower and I had no idea "long ago relatives" lived here in Eugene where I live. Blessings and love to you all. Embrace your memories.

There are no words to express the loss of a loved one, Isaiah 59:1 "Look! The hand of God is not too short to save, Nor is his ear too dull to hear."
