John R. "Randy" Bobko, Ret. CPD, age 72 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Chicago. Beloved husband of 15 years to the late Rose Mary Bobko (nee Kenney). Loving fiancé of Shirley Frieri. Dearest father of Michael (Salam) Bobko (Illinois State Police) and Roberta (Joe Kuczero) Bobko. Cherished grandfather of Harper and Niall. Fond brother of Scott Bobko and Timothy (Kim) Bobko. Dear uncle and cousin of many. After almost 30 years together, John became a special part of Shirley's family. He will be missed by her sons, Glenn (Juli) Johnson and Jeff (Adalynn) Johnson as well as her brother Frank (Linda) Frieri and sister Patricia (Patrick) Helms and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation Friday, October 28, 2022 from 3 - 8 PM with a St. Jude Service at 6:00 PM. Funeral Service Saturday, October 29, 2022, 8:30 a.m. from Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155 th /Wheeler Drive & Harlem) Orland Park to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 6435 S. Kilbourn Ave., Chicago, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Salvation Army, 5040 N. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60630 are appreciated.
