John you have been gone for a year already. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Until we meet again. Love G.

John and I married in Fairbanks, Alaska, after first saying our vows submerged in the Arctic Ocean. John hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Virginia & climbed 14 Colorado mountains in the Sangre De Cristo range, as well as Mr. Rainier in Washington state. His knowledge of nature was amazing. John was a survivalist & could cook me a meal in the middle of wilderness with 3 rocks and 2 sticks. His love for animals, especially our dogs Tippy & Harley, was heartwarming, I will always miss standing on tiptoes to reach your 6'3" height, I will miss your strength, listening to you playing beautiful classical & jazz melodies, as well as your optimism. Travel well...until we meet again...your forever wife, Gilda.

John and I married at Fairbanks, Alaska, having first said our vows submerged in the Arctic Ocean. We slept under the stars by the Yukon River and watched whales, puffins and sea otters by Glacier Bay. I will miss your strength, kindness to animals, and your love for Tippy and Harley. Your knowledge of nature was impressive. Your classical piano melodies inspiring. Until we meet again. Your forever wife, Gilda.
