Jackie was a true example of what a gentleman should be, and I will miss him terribly. I spent a half hour Sunday swapping Jackie stories with Father Edward, who asked my to relay his most sincere sympathies.

Jack was more like an uncle, sometimes like a dad to me, and so much more than just "Cousin Jack." His heart was made of gold and his goodness, kindness and wisdom about so many things were gifts that impacted so many lives. It's hard to imagine him not being on the other end of the phone, or not offering his warm hospitality and easy, quick wit. My heart aches for Caroline, John, Stephanie, Sarah, Aislynn and all of the family who loved him to the ends of the earth. God must have big plans for him as he surely is an angel that we can only hope to meet up in heaven again one day, share a wine or a drink, a laugh, and a warm hug- the kind that stays with you forever and never lets you go.
May God rest and bless his precious soul.
