John T. Bokros

John Thomas Bokros, 63, of Arnold, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at his residence. He was born April 20, 1953, in New Kensington, a son of Dolores M. (Montemurro) Bokros, of New Kensington, and the late Joseph "Tom" Bokros. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Francine Waterloo; and a brother-in-law, Carl Prager. John enjoyed volunteering his time at the Veterans Administration, helping others and sharing a friendly smile. He also was a proud Vietnam Army War veteran. Survivors include his mother, Dolores M. (Montemurro) Bokros, of New Kensington; two brothers, Joseph Bokros, of Arnold, and James Bokros, of Michigan; sister, Mary Jo Bokros, of Brackenridge; brother-in-law, the Rev. Robert Waterloo, of Lower Burrell; also surviving is his stepmother, Loretta Bokros, of Connellsville; and nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a memorial service at 6 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016, in the Rivers of Life Church, 204 McCandless St., Arnold. The pastor, his brother-in-law, the Rev. Robert Waterloo, will preside. Arrangements by GIUNTA-BERTUCCI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1509 Fifth Ave., Arnold, JohnPaul Bertucci, owner-supervisor. Burial is private.
