John Borum Obituary
John was born in Wilkes-Barre Twp., on July 12, 1943, and grew up on Blackman St. He was the son of the late John and Vera Marini Borum. He was a member of the Marymount High School Class of 1962. Following high school, he served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army. He retired from the former HPG International Inc., Mountaintop, PA where he had worked in quality control. He worshipped in the Catholic faith. He enjoyed bowling and watching the Phillies. He especially enjoyed going on bus trips with his wife.
He is survived by his son John Borum of Cleona; daughter Dorothy M. Borum of Cleona; brothers Martin and Anthony Borum; and sisters Geraldine Burke, Catherine Koscielski, Barbara Sarbaugh and Doreen Bozek.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Peter, Thomas and Michael Borum and sisters Sandra Seachrist and Joyce Grohowski.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
