Dear Laurene, I only just learned of John's passing. I am truly sorry for your loss. Of course, I was shocked and saddened by so much, his age, your beautiful family and I cannot imagine your grief.

My family and I have just looked through the lovely pictures of John and you and your sons. We want to wish you peace and healing and our deepest sympathy. We are all so sorry for your loss. Please know we will keep you in our hearts and in our prayers.

Rest In Peace John, thought of you often over the years, my condolences to Laurene, and your sons.

Here's to my very dear friend John Boscovitch. I love you like a brother. Still have the saw you cut the cord off of. We will meet again. Until then my friend.

Thank you for twelve years of Sixth Precinct memories...

John was a non-stop, detail oriented, hard working man with a playful sense of humor (and a very understanding wife).

He taught us both a lot at work and will surely be missed by everyone that had the privilege to know or work with him.

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Laurene, Johnathan and Michael; the family of which he was so proud.

We were saddened to hear the devastating news, but anyone that knew John knew he worked hard, played hard and fought hard...

John was a great cop and a great friend. The type of friend that even raked my leaves while I was in the hospital. We shared a lot of laughs and one or two beers! Rest in peace, Bosko!

Bosco was one of the first cops I met at the old 14th. He worked the Gardens with Wino and I had the opportunity to work the same shift as he. He was a dedicated cop and a very good one to say the least. RIP Brother John!

Lost touch over the years with you, but fondly remember some great times with you, not only working the tough streets of Detroit, but at some of our after shift Choir Practice "meetings." Thank You Brother, not only for your Service to the City of Detroit as a great Police Officer, but for your Service to our country in Vietnam..."Welcome Home" Brother. Save me a good spot!
