Anita Lewis Obituary
Mrs. Lewis attended Brownstown Christian Church. She had worked as a data processor for Jackson County REMC in Brownstown for 36 years. She enjoyed reading and sewing.
Born Sept. 9, 1929, in Columbia, Ky., she was a daughter of Monte and Beaulah DeWitt Bunnell. On June 30, 1950, in New Albany, she married James Allen Lewis, who preceded her in death Oct. 9, 1984.
Survivors include two children, Richard A. (Vickie) Lewis, Elizabethtown, and Conni L. (Steve) Schultz, Rockford, Ill.; two sisters, Christine Terhune, Mount Vernon, Texas, and Golda Woodward, Pearland, Texas; and three grandchildren, David (Angie) Lewis, Adam Schultz and April Schultz.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, an infant daughter and two sisters.
Gary Morning will conduct funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. A private burial will take place at a later date in Borden.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.

I got to know Anita from the doctor's office and thought she was so nice and intelligent. We went out for lunch together once and e-mailed each other some. I will truly miss her!
