Dr. Brandabur will always have a special place in my heart as the one who helped me find a path away from a deep depression I was willing to let end my life. Without his guidance to a source of psychological help I would not have chosen to go on. I would not have eventually met the love of my life, had my only daughter who is now an adult best friend, would not have had years of laughter and love with the canine buddies who have enriched my days, and would not be enjoying my senior years living in this log home my love and I created here in the Maine woods. I would not have seen a young boy lying downslope from the hwy unconscious on a -17 winter day and would not have called 911 for his successful rescue. So many years of good things have followed the help Dr. Brandabur gave me so long ago. I will be forever in his debt. Thank you for returning life to me, Dear Friend.

It is with a sad heart that I offer my deepest condolences to the family of Jack Brandabur. I became a patient of Jack's when I was 19 years old and Jack remained my physician until he retired nearly 40 years later! Jack was the finest physician I had ever known. I admire most Jack's honesty and the deep care he felt for all his patients. Jack was also a good friend over the years and took care of both my parents up to their respective passing. Jack will be missed! Rest in peace my friend!
