I want so much to help you

and to be there for you now

To comfort you through all of this

if only I knew how,

And though I know you have so much

to go through on your own,

My hands and heart reach out to say

You'll never be alone.

I'm here for you in any way I can possibly help! John was a very unique man that will always hold a special place in my heart.

Diana,Lisa and Christina, My heart is with you all at this time. I had known John and Diana since I was pregnant with my first child, and they rented out their suite to me in 1980. I got to know them and stayed in touch through all these years. It is hard to know why some are chosen so early to leave us to mourn them, but I do know that there is a better place and that John is in peace, and he will always be with you.

Audrey and I were saddened to hear of John's sudden death. We had known him and Diana and the family, for over 20 years. They showed great kindness to us, when we spent many weeks at a time, visiting my dear cousin, Tony Taylor, the very accomplished magician.John, did not only show us great kindness during our visits, but when we departed,he gave us a very nice gift. The last one, was a salmon, which he had caught. John is now at peace, after many years of suffering. He is now in God's loving arms and He will never fail John, or any of us.

May God's blessing be with you Diana and all the immediate and extended family.

Our love in Him. Norman Folland

This is a very sad day. I have known John since I was in high school. We meet on the CB Radio and since then we were Friends. John and Dianna helped me out of one the worst times of my life. I will remember John as he was before his accident. He will be missed.

Bye John from De'Wayne VE7AEZ

First of all I would like to send my love and condolences to Diana, Christina, Lisa and family, and John's parents, brothers and sisters and relatives. He will truly be missed by us all.

I first met John in 2004 after Diana and I were reunited again, after 35 yrs. I was invited to come and stay with John and Diana, the summer of 2004--that is when I got to know John. I will always remember how he brought Diana and I home chinese food from the restaurant he went to every Sunday, and I thought it was so nice of him to ask us if we would like him to bring us some food back. I will always remember how kind John was to me, and how Diana, John and I would laugh at the kitchen table as we all told stories and reminisced about the past.

John was quite the character, that is for sure, and I will always have fond memories of him! I will miss him a lot! Knowing that John is now in a better place, gives me great comfort. My prayer is that God will give us all strength in this sad time!

My condolences, Diana. I hadn't heard from John in a while and was wondering about him. It is very sad. Did you know that I met John the very first time in 1968? That was at Magee High School when he was visiting. I didn't see him again for years until I got re-introduced by De'Wayne!

Again, very sorry to hear the bad news. ...Love, Dave

It was indeed a pleasure when I met John, when a Divine Appointment brought my cousin Diana back into my life in the 90's. John was a beloved precious soul, I felt privileged to know. He had a heart of gold, a real GEM, and was such a helpful individual when asked for support and assistance. On one occasion, John was my Knight in shining armor when he rescued and retrieved me and my broken down bicycle from the dykes in Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge one evening.

"Cherished memories of one so dear, oft remembered by a silent tear." "To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die". John you will be missed here in the physical, however I know that you live forever in SPIRIT. Peace be with you. Love Lorill
