John Allen Burrows

On November 29, 2023, John Allen Burrows passed peacefully from this life to the next. He was at home with family. John was born in Covert, Michigan and spent most of his life in Michigan. In 2018 he and his beloved wife, Janet Burrows, moved to Arizona where he enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. John had great love for his family and friends. He could often be found sitting around the table, playing card games with family. John was a retired RN from the Department of Corrections, Michigan National Guard and served in the Marine Corps reserves. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet Burrows, Brother Mark Burrows (Denise) of Zephyrhills ,FL, Daughter, Laura DeVore (Rick) of Battle Creek, MI, Sons, Kyle Burrows (Lauren) of Fayetteville, NC, David Burrows(Kalynn) of Phoenix, AZ, and eight Grandchildren, Ricky, Benjamin, Spencer, Aaron, Julia, Emmanuel, Makenna and Raegan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Margaret (Long) Burrows and his brothers Willam Burrows and James Burrows. John will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, Michigan.
