My sincerest condolences for your loss. I knew John Ben back in the 1960s when he arranged my first date [15]. He just walked into the bowling alley at Texas A&M and grabbed him and brought to car.

Cherie,
Our hearts go out to you; we did not know until today when I picked up the new "ShowBox" to read your article. We have fond memories of the wedding, and of our meeting John Ben in Ruiodoso. You have had some huge losses of late, and we will have you in our prayers. Wilsie and I have been in Lufkin almost 4 years now, and I have resigned to take a ministry in Hearne, Texas for a much smaller congregation. We will conclude the ministry here at the end of October and begin in Hearne around the middle of November. We will try to keep in touch with you. Along with our sympathy, we send you our love.

Cherie and Ryan, my heart goes out to you both at this difficult time. John Ben was always so kind and welcoming whenever I saw him. My fondest memory of him was sitting and chatting with him in Dallas Tx about his love of ranching and cattle while waiting for Ryan's girlfriends to pick out dresses. We had the most wonderful chat and I'll remember him always. Hugs and Love to you both and his many many many friends.
