John Cecil was a dear man with a big heart. He always prayed for others and cared deeply about the well being of all. I loved his stories. Especially the one he told of trying to get a baby falcon from a nest when he was a boy. He accidentally kicked the ladder out from under him and was left hanging from the tree branch way up in the air. He obviously lived through it and it was a gift to hear other stories as well. I also was moved many times by his spirit and devotion to God in Sunday School class. He had some hard things happen in life but lived to trust and love God even more. He was a gift. We will miss his smile and his prayers.

When I Think of John, he was always so positive and encouraging, along with his geniune smile! A godly man that wanted others to know of the love of Jesus personally. Thank you Lord, for allowing John Cecil, to be such an important part of mine and other peoples' lives!!
