Very sad to hear of the passing of my friend Jack. I worked with Jack in the 1985 to 1995 period. He shared his experience, views and counsel very carefully and thoughtfully. He gave me an appreciation of Canadian history and politics. Some of his lessons and stories I still remember and use in my teaching. Condolences to Olive, Judy, Leslie and Amy.

We owe a great debt of gratitude to Jack Chapman for his work in asbestos abatement and his support for workers Health and Safety.
I had the privilige of working with this fine upstanding gentleman for many years.

Sorry for your loss. Jack was the best pseudo-norskie I ever knew! He had the best accent. What a friendly guy he was. He always greeted me with "Takk for sist".

• What a great Canadian. John gave the very best in all of his endeavours. By example and his actions, he demonstrated to everyone around him the meaning of true ethics, honesty and thoughtfulness toward people his work and all everything he touched. John always took the time and effort to learn new things ensuring that whatever he undertook was given his best. He will always be remembered. We are so sorry that we are unable to attend the Service and we offer our most sincere condolences to Olive and all his family.
