Please accept my sincere sympathies. May God's holy spirit or active force, equip you with the " power beyond what is normal " to go from one day to the next. ( 2 Corinthians 4 : 7 ) Remember : God can help his faithful servants to endure any and every problem they may face.

My deepest condolences to Dan Conway and the entire Conway family. Mr. Conway was my very first boss when I got my first job as a secretary in Washington, DC at the American Nuclear Energy Council. He was a true gentleman, respected and looked upon in the highest regard. I will always remember Mr. Conway and how wonderful he treated me. He was an extraordinary person and gentleman.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of John T. Conway. I will always look back upon his life and pre-eminent contributions to the safety and economy of nuclear science and engineering for the benefit of our nation's security. His decade and half as Chairman of the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board saw incredible improvements in the formerly opaque federal nuclear programs and activities. His leadership, during both Republican and Democrat Administrations, has lessons for everyone. And, his vision and determination to identify and resolve complex nuclear safety issues in a stubbornly resistant bureaucracy was missed almost immediately after he retired. John's level of achievement has yet to be approached, much less equalled.
John Conway was a truly Great American.

I met John in Sept 1991 when he was the Chairman of the DNFSB and I was in the process of becoming Secretary of Energy Watkin's liaison with the DNFSB. John became a close friend and adviser and we kept in touch ever since. I regret that the last time I visited John was about a year ago. My thoughts and prayers go with the Conway family. I will never forget John.
