John O. Crabill

John O. Crabill, 85, of Mechanicsburg, PA entered into eternal rest on Tuesday March 29th, 2016 at his home.
He was born November 19, 1930 in Hagerstown, MD, to the late John A. Raffensberger, Catherine Edwards Raffensberger Crabill and his adopted father Clarence L. Crabill. He was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church of Middletown and was a Naval Air Veteran of the Korean War.
John was a graduate of the Middletown High School Class of 1948 and an employee of the former Citizens Bank and Trust Co. and the former Farmers Trust Co., both of Middletown. John retired from the IBM Corporation in 1986, having had a successful career in Executive Management of the Data Processing Division in New York City and subsequently National Mgr. of Systems Development for the Office Products Division in Lexington, KY. Upon retirement, he was a licensed real estate agent and also formed his own company, WorkStationPM, INC.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Kay A. (Brandt) Crabill; daughters Wendy S. Hill and husband Michael of Surf City, NC and JoAnn M. Bruno and husband Fred of Dillsburg; brother Donald L. Crabill of York; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Michael J. Crabill and daughter Holly Lynn Perry.
A memorial service will be Sunday, April 3rd at Matinchek Funeral Home at 3:30 in Middletown, PA. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
