Hello. Your family foesn't know me and I never got to meet Mr. Craig. But back in the 1940s my grandmother knew him. They wrote extensively. I'm working on typing up and documenting all the content of the letters. I'd love to send more! Here's a photo from 1943

Scotty and family, So sorry to read of John's passing. It is so wonderful that you had 60 years together. My boys loved to go watch John play softball or "slow pitch" as they called it. May the God of all comfort sustain you in the days ahead.

Jeff & Nadine,
My heart goes out to you both. Although no words can really help to ease the loss of your father, just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the peace which comes from the memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.

Scotty, Jeff and Nadine, Christine and Ted and Spencer,
We mourn with you the passing of John and tender our prayers and condolences in a most loving way.
At the same time, we celebrate the beginning of John's eternal life in heaven, where everything is made new and we are recreated in perfection as only God is able to do.
We can never forget John's phenomenal sense of humor which even now brings smiles as we look back. His impish grin and the twinkle in his eyes will also remain with us. The love demonstrated by John and Scotty for each other is truly amazing and serves as an example for all of us. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives.
Love,
Frank & Wilma

Scotty my heart is with you at this difficult time. You and Johnny had a true love that most people never achieve today. I will miss him talking to me occasionally and chiming in when we were on the phone.
How lucky you had 60 years together how blessed you two were and remember your Johnny will be watching over you. Love Sandie
