John Frank Crispino

John Frank Crispino, age 82, of Royal, died, Tuesday, June 9, 2009. He was born on February 1, 1927 in Kingston, New York the son of John Frank Crispino and Angeline Naccarato Crispino. On December 15, 1945 he married Mae Raske. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tony Crispino and Joe Crispino; two sisters, Rosie Bacucci and Mary Crispino; and his grandson, Nicholas Todd Crispino. He attended the Glory Barn and was Christian by faith. He was a United States Navy veteran and served as a gunner on the U. S. S. Cabot, and during his service he received a Purple Heart. He also was a baker while serving in the Navy and went on to own and operate numerous bakeries for over 60 years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mae Crispino of Royal; two sons and daughters-in-law, John F. and Sharon Crispino of Plainfield, Illinois and Rick and Lisa Crispino of Hot Springs; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharron and Jim Martin of Pearcy and Angeline Orlando of Royal; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Crispino of Kingston, New York and Ronnie Crispino of Del Ray Beach, Florida; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Tessie and Julius Glassman and Carmel DelToro, all of Kingston, New York; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2009 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Rev. Jess Gideon officiating.
