May Mr. Cuthbert rest in peace. A fine family man. His son John was my first friend in high school - pals on the cross country team. I came to the house now and then, running with John, as well as Jim. And then as teens, we all rediscovered a faith in Christ that transformed our lives. We turned from being "good ol' boys" to memorizing Scripture and going to Bible studies. For that I have to thank the Cuthbert family. I'll remember Mr. Cuthbert and all the family at Sunday's Mass this weekend. May they all be blessed in the days to come.

I've known Jack Cuthbert for 65 years, as we worked together at U.S.Steel, South Works in the electrical/electronic department. We continued our friendship after Jack retired and often met for lunch with our wives at the River Flame in Cal City. When Jack and Therese moved to Florida, we stayed connected through Jack's audio tapes and my letters.

In 1984 and '85, Jack's letters followed me to another part of the world, Morocco, Jack wrote me often, to provide the local and national news, as well as fill me in on his recent activities in the Florida bowling league. I wrote back to tell him about my current experiences in Morocco: attempting to resolve problems in a new Rod Mill without any electrical test equipment or spares. I also shared the great photography opportunities I had in that Arab part of the world. I truly appreciated his many letters and audio tapes.

We shared much. Jack was a valued friend and I will miss him, his "chuckles" and our communications.
Sending sincere sympathy to all the Jack Cuthbert family members.

Our family will certainly miss our Uncle Jack. We have fond memories of fun times with Jack and Therese, especially sharing buffet meals together whenever we were in Florida. We will always remember Jack as a happy, joking, loving and sincere Uncle. He inspired my Mom (Valerie), me, and my son (Chuck) to enjoy the sport of bowling, giving us lots of pointers along the way.

I will miss you, Dad, with your funny stories, many times repeated, and your laugh when something struck you funny. You said to me when I left the house, drive safely. This was your way of telling me that you loved me. Your #1 daughter, Jackie
