John Danielson JD, died on September 20,2025, at Hilltop Rehab facility in Duluth Mn from complications from pneumonia. Born on January 15,1942, John was the son of Violet (Curran)Danielson and John Danielson Sr. John grew up in Superior WI and graduated from Superior central high school in 1959, and graduated from UWS in1966. He started his business career at Univac in Minneapolis and retired from General Dynamics after 34 years as a contracts negotiator.

John married Ann LaRock in 1969 and together they spent 32 years together building a home on Lotus Lake in Chanhassen and raising their son Andrew and fishing at their camp in Canada. John was a car enthusiast, liked to cook and garden and especially hang out with his friends. He was a member of the Masonic Temple, and also belonged to the Elks and Moose clubs. After retiring, John built a home in North Port Florida with his former classmate and partner Sharon, and they spent the summers in Duluth.

John is proceded in death by his parents, exwife, Aunt Shirley Johnston and uncle Leo Danielson. He is surviving by his son Andrew, wife Katie, granddaughters Taylor and Jordan of Waconia mn, his partner, Sharon Tersini of Duluth and sisters Sharon LaVine, Pete and Linda Bradshad of Hickory NC and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life is planned for John on Sunday, October 19, from 12 to 3 pm at the VIP Pizza in Superior WI. All are welcome to come and share their memories of him.
