John and I met at GPN together and he will be remembered as a person that had an infectious smile, laugh and was kind to others. Until we meet again my friend.

I'm sorry to hear of John's passing. I knew him since the mid 90's or so, including working for him at Emergency Restoration for several years. John taught me a lot over the years and I eventually started a business of my own, as a "competitor" in the same field. I stayed in touch with John over the years and will always be thankful to him and his brother Al. I'm glad that I was able to talk to him just a couple of months ago. You will be missed. Rest easy, my friend.

Dear John,
We shared more than 40 years of friendship, and I am deeply grateful for every one of those days. Your presence in my life was a gift-one that I will always treasure.
Words can´t fully express what you meant to me. All I can say is that I will miss you more than I can say, and I hope that one day, we´ll meet again in heaven.
Let me know if heaven is everything we´ve ever hoped it would be, if you can.
Rest well, my dear friend.
With love,
Daniel F. Bodine

On behalf of the Capuchin friars, I offer condolences to the family and friends of John David. May he rest in peace, and may God's mercy console those who are mourning his death. The friars are truly humbled by memorial donations made in his memory to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. May the Lord give you peace.

John was truly one of the "good guys." His smile always had that little twinkle in his eyes. His generosity and loyalty were only exceeded by his love for his family. Some of the most memorable fun filled times of my life were shared with John and Bob Roberts. Someday I'll be up there with John riding around in his cart hitting golf balls again.
My love condolences to his entire family. Feel good for having John in your lives as long as you did. Feel better knowing he is again happy and pain free.
With love and memories,
Danny Moss
