When I think of John it is a big broad smile. In his younger years I think his biggest disappointment was that he was not bigger taller. He loved playing basketball and would have loved being an NBA player. But he never lost his love of basketball. My wife and I want to give are sincerest condolences to Nancy and family for their loss.May his memories bring them smiles and future happiness.

Loved the guy. There's a moment I'll never forget. There were tryouts at holy cross and John was roaming the sidelines. I was trying to just play team ball and not just be a ball hog. It wasn't my game. and things weren't going well. John catches my eye and yells Jay shoot. I crossed over and shot what would have been a 3. Made about 4 more and 5 assists. Made the team. That wouldn't have happened without John. jUST A GREAT PERSON. RIP Johnnie. Wish we could have kept in touch. My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.
