Just a note for Anna, I really enjoyed your Dad's funeral if that is an appropiate thing to say? It really was a celebration of his life and he was truly honored by your family and the clergy as well. Mary Ankerstjerne

Dear Ditter Family,
It was sad to hear about Uncle John passing away. You will always have memories to help ease the loss. My memories include him pushing me so high on the tire swing that it felt like flying, watching his great polka dancing with Anyce at Medina, taking me on snowmobile rides, & the cool stuff he invented like the Jet Ski he made- half a pontoon with a seat on top and outboard motor on back- and thinking how wild that was. He seemed to be able to just make stuff to solve a problem. I remember looking in awe at a log splitter he over built. He told me once about being upset that he had to wait too long for a beer at a party and that it was too warm, so he was going to make a portable, high volume, very cold keg trailer. I don't know if he did, but it seemed like a great example we could all benefit from: using your skills to solve problems you feel passionately about, and he could do that! God bless.

I was so very sorry to hear that Uncle John had passed away. I always remember the fun we had together with all of the family at Holy Name. John would show us treasures he had collected and projects he was working on in his shop. I remember him often singing polka music and all the German folk songs he knew by heart. He will be missed.

Dear Ditter Family, so sorry to hear that John has passed away. I use to see John and Anyce at the grocery store from time to time, always good to see them together. We would always stop and chat about our families and how everyone was doing. I will miss seeing them on our shopping trips. We will keep you all in our prayers, may God Bless you all.
