I remember back in the early 70s when Johnny built a tennis court at his house on Shady Grove. Ric Wolbrecht and I went over to play on the court one day. I was probably about 13 or 14. Johnny was there and said we could play anytime we wanted and we didn't have to ask him first. I just couldn't get over that. A private tennis court and we could play anytime! It was like the biggest luxury ever. Johnny was always so nice to us. He called me several times after my dad died to make sure I and my sisters were OK. Thanks Johnny!
