Sometimes , if you are blessed enough , you may encounter a familiar soul along the way that manages to touch a special place in your heart . If you pay close attention , they may even teach you some valuable lessons , you hadn't the slightest idea you needed to learn . Thank you John for sharing your warmth and wisdom , I am grateful more than words can express . May your smile and adventure be present wherever your spirit flies . And may you rest assured you can remain proud of what you have left behind in this world . Much love , blessings and deepest condolences to the Doherty family . The (far too few) times I had the pleasure of being around John, he was smiling, laughing, and joking, much like in those beautiful photos of him above. That's how I'll always remember him. And I know a large part of why he was so happy whenever I saw him was because of how proud he was of his two sons, Chris and Frankie. Lots of love to them and the rest of his family.
