You were a bright light in my days at UVa and I am sorry we lost contact over the years. I always appreciated your spirit and talent, and I know you will be missed by your many friends. Rest in peace.

RIP John! You will be missed. You where a very nice person I am honored that I got a chance to meet such a great person as yourself.I Will miss are Stimulating conversations we use to have when I ran in to you over the years.

I will miss you. You were always so nice to my family and a source of positive energy and intelligent, impassioned conversation. I will never forget your Irish quote to me when I graduated from college. I think its just as relevant now:

"May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand."

Heaven has definitely gained an angel! We are missing you already!

you were such a nice guy. Always enjoyed our intellectually stimulating conversations. You were truly one of the brightest and kindest man i knew. To come to the Y everyday and overcome the challenges that you faced is awe inspiring. Thank you for being in my life and you will be greatly missed. RIP my friend
