John Doran Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 31, 2022.
John August "Jack" Doran III passed away at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital on March 20, 2022 due to complications from heart disease. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota on January 22, 1933 to John August "Bud" Doran II and Ingrid Louise (Jenssen) Doran.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his brother Richard Doran, as well as sons John August Doran IV and Randall Doran. He is survived by his children Robert (Sandi) Doran, Valerie (Charles) Harley, Lorraine Carey, Bob "Yooper" Doran and Kristen Doran, as well as sister Dorothy (Bruce) Wadeson, sister-in-law Kim Doran and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His job as a Vice President of machine tool sales at Unison Corporation took him all over the world, letting him see some amazing sights and meet interesting people. He always had a story to tell, whether it was about his time overseas, the time he spent living in California with his grandmother and uncle, or the joke his father taught him about why fire engines were red.
At his request there will be no funeral services.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have such fond memories of Uncle Jack from my childhood and seeing his face (and signature mustache) here warms my heart and makes me smile. God speed Uncle Jack! <3
