My sympathies to the Duxbury family. I went to grade school with Tom, and my family lived just a few blocks away on Douglas Drive (my Dad still lives there). It's hard to lose a parent. My deepest sympathy.

John was my Great Uncle, my Grandmother's only brother. And though we didn't see them very often, I'll always remember John as kind and patient. He was never without his wonderful smile. My heart is with you Marilyn. Thumbs up John.

Marilyn & Family

I was so sorry to see John's obituary in today's paper. What a loss to you all. He was a great guy and I have many fond memories from swim meets, St. Raph's, etc. Take care & God's blessing to you all.

We join the Duxbury family in mourning the loss of John. It has been our privilege to co-grandparent with Marilyn and John these past thirteen years. John has always been a pleasure to be with.

He has left a legacy of dependability, leadership and love of family. His sense of humor was evident in the many good times we

shared. We will miss him. We send

you our love and prayers from our

Arizona winter retreat.

Dear, sweet, gentle, kind, loving, thoughtful, tolerant, patient, intellegent, unassuming, tall, handsome, amusing, faithful friend, John ... now with the angels --- is there a rousing bridge game going on?

We were together in grade school, high school and room mates in college. John was best man in my wedding in 1950. Through the years he has been a best friend. I will sorely miss him.
