John,

Driving home last Thursday evening I experienced one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. I just know you and Betty were having a wonderful reunion--complete with shrimp and cocktails. You're together again! Rest in peace dear friend. Bob and I will never forget you and will always love you. Sandy and Bob

Mr. Eiler was a great soccer coach. I played four years for him. He was a great friend and a super educator. The Slippery Rock class of 55 & the soccer team can only say God Bless him.

To the family and multitude of friends of John Eiler: Of the many outstanding 'mentors' I've enjoyed throughout my life-high school, college and a long Navy career, John Eiler commands, uneqivocally the highest respect. His standards of excellency and high morals established the greatest examples for all those following after.... We'll always remember and cherish his leadership and the memories! God bless him!

Uncle John,

You will be forever loved by your "kids" at the lake. With Aunt Betty, you taught us to work hard, play fair and love the little things - sunnies, a boat ride in the sun, cleaning the trout pond, watermelon and hot dog roasts. We will miss you both very much. You are both forever in our hearts.
