From the day we met on October 22, 1960 until John left me in 2023
in his own unique way, we shared a secret kind of love that is best described as non-acidentally transcendental. Despite being on opposite sides of the political, professional and personal aisle, we were exactly what each other needed and I thank John for being a true-life angel throughout my private poethood.
