Mr. Este was the Headmaster of Taft while I was a student. He was a truly enlightened person who transformed the school. He was also a mentor to me. My best to Mrs. Este who used to drive us to Waterbury for our tutoring program. When I think of Taft I think of the warmth of the Estes.Chris Wardell

I had the great good fortune to be on the NAIS board when John was the President. It was inspiring to be in meetings facilitated by such a lively intellect, such a gracious manner and such an entertaining wit.
