It was a privilege to officiate your 40th anniversary and vow renewal. I count it an honor to preside over your memorial service. Stacey and I want to thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your life.

I'm so sorry to read your loss. I will keep you in my prayers that God holds you all extra close. We will see him again, and I look forward to the day.

Dad, I will miss your wonderful sense of humor, your great smile and the twinkle in your blue eyes.(especially when you had another one of your great jokes to share.) You may not have been tall in stature, but your strong faith in the Lord, your quiet gentle strength, and your love for your friends and family caused you to rise head and shoulders above even the tallest of men. Thank you for teaching me the love of God through the way you lived your life. I will miss you as much as I love you.

John Dearest: You were the BEST husband any woman could ask for ~ and you were mine. I will love and miss you for the rest of my life! Thank You for loving me! I am so blessed. Your loving wife; Betty (Big Red to you)!

Betty, I feel honored that I was able to spend the last couple nights of John's life here on earth with both of you. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to know John except through your wonderful stories and memories. My thoughts and prayers have been with you and your family this week as you say goodbye to your beloved John.

I will always remember Uncle John as the gentle uncle with a smile on his face. Thinking of you Kay, always keep his memories close to your heart.

My heart goes out to all of you at this difficult time. I have great memories of John, his special smile and his kindness. He was a real gentleman and the world was a better place because of him.What a blessed assurance that we will see him again, happy and whole.
