JOHN WESLEY "STICK" FAUCETT JR. John Wesley "Stick" Faucett Jr., age 59, passed away August 19, 2007. He was born December 13, 1947, in Lebanon, Ind. to John Wesley and Esther Pearl (Fairfield) Faucett. He was formerly married to Sheryl D. Freeman and then later married Sonja Annette (Everman) McKinney who survives. Mr. Faucett attended the Muncie Central School system and lived in Frankfort for the past 20 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Vietnam and was discharged in 1968. He was most recently employed as a truck driver for James Stewart Trucking, prior to that he was a truck driver for Precision Truss in Kirklin for 30 years. His memberships include American Legion, Eagles and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-son, Chris McKinney. He is survived by his father, John W. Faucett of Sebring; son, John David Faucett of Frankfort, Ind.; three sisters, Rosita Matyasi of Lake Placid, Helen L. Ray of Indianapolis, Ind. and Linda K. (Brad) Hardebeck of Shelbyville, Ind.; two brothers, Jerry R. (Rhonda) Faucett of Frankfort, Ind. and Donald R. (Donna) Faucett of Avon Park; step-son, Brian McKinney of Florida and three grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2007, with services at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2007, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Frankfort, Ind. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Kirklin, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to charity of donor' s choice. Online condolences may be made at goodwinfuneralhome.com.
