So many precious memories of John. He and my mom discussing which country was better; France or Germany, John chopping veggies to put in his wonderful soups, always wanting his beer in a thin glass, him showing me edelweiss growing in Germany .... John will be in my heart forever. We were abundantly blessed for the years God gave us with him.

John, you were deeply loved and you will be deeply missed. Thank you for enhancing our Mom´s life with your Top Chef cooking, and 46 years of adventurous world travel! Thank you for all your wisdom and "fatherly" advice throughout the years. We treasured hearing your stories of courage and bravery during young years in your beloved Germany. Thank you that your unmatchable work ethic was a great example to our children. Forever in our hearts John. Miguel, Cindy and Isaiah Acosta

I remember John teaching me how to waltz at the soccer club. What a wonderful memory! I know he will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family. Sincerely, Donna Davis
