Uncle John was a great man, a good father. He could make everybody laugh with few words. I´m really sorry for the loss. Filipeks, my love and support will always be here.

I had the pleasure of meeting John through Wes in the late 90's. To this day John and I became close friends with many conversations of life. I will miss him as a friend and a mentor.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting John. My boss Andy Sanchez was telling me today about dining recently with John and Wes. Wes' letter further introduced me to this accomplished professional and more importantly this wonderful brother, son, and family man. I cannot imagine a person more missed than John Filipek.
