John FUR Obituary
March 8, 1935 – August 14, 2014
John Fur passed away on August 14, 2014 after a lengthy and valiant struggle with MS. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Susanna (Tom) and son, John (Rhonda). His pride and joy were his five grandchildren: Kevin, Michael, Joey, Alyssa and Robyn-Lynn. A private family service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory directly to the Calgary Chapter of Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (150, 110 Quarry Park Blvd SE Calgary, AB T2C 3G3). We would like to sincerely thank all the staff at Carewest Sarcee for the amazing care and attention that was extended to John over the years. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.edenbrookcemetery.ca. Arrangements entrusted to EDEN BROOK FUNERAL HOME AND RECEPTION CENTRE (17th Avenue SW and Lower Springbank Rd).

Dear Elizabeth and family
It has been so many years since we have been in touch - our daughter Rhonda and your son John were born in the same hospital and we did keep in touch for a while. I often think of the special times we shared together with our young children.
My deepest condolences to all of you, may memories of happy times give you comfort as you grieve John's passing.

It is great sadness for the family that I hear of Johns passing. even thou I had not seen John for many years I still have very vivid memories of my childhood growing up with Susanna and Johnney. Our families visited often in those years. I will always remember him from those memorable times. To Elizabeth,Susanna and John I extend our condolences to you all and your families.
